As a Shoprider and Eclipse medical dealer we service what we sell! We service and repair, or will facilitate the service and repair of most products we sell (some products are not serviceable). We also have technical support through Shoprider and Eclipse medical as well as other providers. Batteries, tires and other power chair and scooter accessories are available for most other scooters and power chairs. Most commonly service and maintenance can be provided on site, whether that be your home or office, with our mobile service vehicles.
The service techs at OK Mobility and Scooters Plus are often asked what kind of service scooters and powerchairs need. The simple answer is they are simple in design. Unlike cars and trucks they need very little maintenance, no oil changes, no tune ups, no gas fill ups, and no ICBC requirements. The most common service is battery replacement, followed by tire maintenance or replacement (mostly for wear but with a few incidences of punctures; thorn proof tires and foam filled tires are available as an upgrade for most scooters and power chairs). Scooters and power chairs occasionally need brush replacement for electric motors, but this is not always the case and is normally done after heavy and extended use. Warranties are as per owners manual/or warranty certificates on Shoprider products, and any questions you have about warranties can be directed to our sales staff. Also, it is important to note that OK Mobility has its own extended service program as an added option for our clients.
